2066 and all that is a new sequel to Sellar
and Yeatman’s classic parody, covering the period
from the end of The First World War to the end of the Blah
era and beyond.
This sequel is very much in the spirit of the original
to which it pays homage: a light-hearted take on the clichés
and muddles of 20th century history as most people remember
it. The text is illustrated by line drawings depicting such
luminaries as Mayfly Keynes the economist and Mussolini,
the 'charming but ill' Duce - as well as pivotal historical
events like the Swizz Crisis and the arrival of the Coronation
Chicken at Portsmouth in 1953.
